  • Monocrotophos is an organophosphate insecticide. It is part of the Prior Informed Consent (PIC) procedures because “it is a highly toxic pesticide that is likely to cause problems under conditions of storage, transportation and use in developing countries” (FAO/UNEP, 1997).
