  • Plantation crops: crops that may be (not must be) grown on plantations. Typical plantation crops are perennial tree or shrub crops such as tea, coffee, cocoa, oil palm, citrus, banana, rubber and coconuts; and certain field crops such as pineapples, sisal, and sugar.
